Since they liberated the presidential palace in central Khartoum, the Sudanese Army is advancing into long occupied neighbourhoods where hundred of thousands of civilians may still be trapped.

In some neighbourhoods, the RSF (supported by the United Arab Emirates) prevented civilians to flee the area under their controll for 2 years under occupation.

On the military situation, the SAF bypassed Jebel Aulia bridge and entered Tayba Alhasanab neighbourhood in southern Khartoum, thus cutting the remaining RSF troops inside Khartoum from the last bridge to western Sudan.

Jebel Aulia progress was made along the White Nile axis, while on the Blue Nile axis, forces liberated Al Bageir military base.
