Chronology :
-April/July 2023 : RSF take controll of most of Khartoum
-A few encircled bases remain (Engineer Corps, Armour Corps, General Command, Signal Corps, Kadroo base)
-January 2024 : siege of Engineer corps is lifted
-September 2024 : siege of Kadroo base is lifted
-January 2025 : siege of Signal Corps and General command is lifted
-March 2025 : siege of armour corps lifted (junction between forces from Khartoum (armour corps), Omdourman and Bahri (Kadroo + signal corps).
Despite the Emirati supported Rapid Support Forces claiming they will keep controll of the preisdential palace, the Sudanese Armed forces managed to liberate it this morning, while they continue their progress to Khartoum business neighbourhood.
Now that most of the forces of the Sudanese Army are unified, and much more powerful than at the beginning of the war, they will be able to push deep into RSF controlled territory.
First battle will be fought to liberate entirely Khartoum, especially by cutting the bridge of Jebel Aulia the only one controlled by the RSF on the Nile river.
At the same time, the army resumed offensive actions west of Khartoum, in the city of Omdourman.
All forces south of Khartoum will be able to cross the Nile in Kosti (some already did) to participate in offensive actions in the Kordofan to then liberate Darfur, while forces north of Khartoum will be dispatch between Omdourman and north Darfur.
The big SAF victory in Khartoum will allow them to redeploy ten of thousands of men to the frontlines, while they will regain their legitimity at the eyes of the world.
Behind them, a strong civilian mouvment is pushing for their victory.
Finally, in the north Darfur region, the RSF are launching powerful attacks against Joint Darfur forces (former rebels) and their SAF allies, aimed at creating a parrallel state on the borders of the Darfur region, supported by the United Arab Emirates.
We should remember that Al Fashir, one of the biggest city in Sudan is still encircled since the first days of the war, a city bombed everyday and home of hundred thousands of civilians, mainly minorities, displaced in Zamzam camp (the RSF are regularly attacking the area).
