Crushing defeat for the Rapid Support Forces today, which lost control of most of their positions in northern Khartoum state. The Sudanese Armed Forces lifted the siege of the General Command and pushed back RSF offensive in besieged Al Fashir.

A year ago, SAF forces in Khartoum were cut in 5 encircled bases. The main force was in Omdourman (west of Khartoum).

There were also :
-Medical Corps in Omdourman
-Armoured Corps (Khartoum)
-General Command (Khartoum)
-Signal Corps (Bahri)
-Kadroo base (Bahri)

After liberating the Medical Corps a year ago, the SAF crossed the Nile and liberated the besieged Kadroo base, before liberating the Signal Corps and the General Command of the Armed Forces today. Both are connected through the Nile. Only the Armoured Corps is still encircled. General Al Burhan, cheif of the SAF, was himself encircled in the General Command base from april to august 2023 after escaping capture in the presidential palace, before being secretly evacuated. This base has high symbology for the Sudanese army and for the Sudanese people.

In Bahri, the Armed Forces which came from the north made the junction with the signal corps engineers.

Those were not made to fight but to do military communication and transmission…

The liberation of the siege of these two strategic bases also allows the soldiers to breathe, especially the wounded who could not be evacuated during all this time.

Numerous videos show scenes of jubilation as the soldiers met with each other.
The advance into central Bahri also means the encirclement of part of the RSF along the river and on Tuti Island, which will probably withdraw to Khartoum.

At the same time, the Sudanese Armed Forces liberated the Al Jili refinery, which was set afire by the Rapid Support Forces while fleeing.

This is another victory, and it’s significant : the SAF now controls both sides of the Nile river.

Today in Al Fashir, last remaining SAF controled city of Darfur region, the western part of the country, the Rapid Support Forces launched numerous attacks but failed another time to take control of the city, strongly defended by the 6th Infantry Division and Joint Darfur Forces.

In this particular city, thousands of civilians could die of malnutrition and the lack of proper medical services. The United Arab Emirates sponsor militia is trying to starve and destroy the city, but the world is still silent…

The past 3 weeks in Sudan have seen a complete shift of power. Now, the Sudanese Armed Forces, massively supported by the sudanese people, gained the advantage. They liberated Singa and Madani, and will soon try to liberate Khartoum city.

The Sudanese army has successfully combined military power (tanks, artillery, air force) with extreme mobility (high-performance infantry and mobile pick-up force).

They have mobilized thousands of soldiers, tribes and former rebels and will now be trying to liberate Sudan. Finally, SAF offnesive actions began in the Kordofan region. SAF troops are trying to take back Um Ruwaba, which is an important step before relieving the besieged city of El Obeid.

There are recent Google Earth sattelite images of El Obeid, showing 2 anti-vehicles ditches dug by the SAF on the western edge of the city.

We can also assess the destruction of western neighbourhoods.
